Paz y Agus Caradonti. The couple: Georgina plays hockey and Juan Pablo plays rugby. They met because they belonged to the same rugby and hockey club. They fell in love and had a child together. Tommy is now 3. Juan Pablo pampers Georgina, which she loves. She asked him to keep pampering her forever.Wedding date: April 20, 2013.Inspiration: The bride wanted a very romantic table setting. The groom wanted a modern and techy dance floor. To accommodate their different décor desires, we divided the huge venue in two different places.Color palette: White and beige.Guest count: 250.Most unique design element: There were 150 mirror dance balls suspended from the ceiling over the dance floor. Arrangements had to be made to hang the balls since the venue didn’t have the necessary technical support. The dance floor was primarily thought of as blue, but as the dancing began, we used lighting to transform it to multiple colors. It resembled a dark night sky full of stars.Biggest challenge: We are used to putting the dance floor in the center of the table settings at wedding receptions. It was a big challenge to put the dance floor in another room entirely. This is unexpected for guests as well. We had to be very proactive as planners in helping guests understand this new concept of
bar/dance floor as separate from the dining area.Hindsight: We would have loved to see the ceremony performed during sunset, but we could not since the bride’s and the groom’s teams played until late on the day of the wedding.
