Let's face it. There really is no such thing as "wedding season" anymore. Weddings can happen whenever and wherever a person wants—provided they have the resources and the chutzpah necessary to carry it off.Throughout the years, tent choices and accessories have added to the possibilities. Tent choices for weddings and events can range from the simple to the elaborate. They can harbor picnic tables, candles, and gingham or elaborate furniture, flooring, lighting, and décor that transform the tent, making it feel more like a solidly constructed home or building. Find out more about the latest types of tents available for your weddings and events in our cover feature on page 8. Plus, take a peek at a stunning tented New York Real Wedding planned by Lisa Marie Blinn, PWP™ on page 11.Also inside these pages, we include the second article in the CREATE process series by Tonia Adleta, PWP™. This one explore taking risks and engagement. We also introduce a new series written by experts at GiANT Worldwide, an international leadership consultancy. The series, meant to help establish clarity in our day-to-day business and personal communications, begins with the article, "Provision, Plan, and Promise."Meghan Ely brings us a Seasoned Professionals article on growth challenges, while Simone Vega, CWP™, shares her experiences and advice on making the transition from part-time wedding and event planner to full-time.And don't forget to register for the Association of Bridal Consultants Annual Conference, to be held Nov. 4 - 8 at Barcelo Maya Beach Resort in the Riviera Maya, Mexico.
