When we began this issue of Wedding Planner Magazine, we asked Nancy LaTart of Fête in France to tell readers about the sophisticated wedding traditions of historic France. Of course, we had no way of knowing that a short time later Paris would be the site of a heartbreaking act of terror. Despite the turmoil in her city, Nancy continued to work with us on the article. We are thrilled to include the article in this issue. Paris is the City of Love. And despite the recent unrest, people around the globe are uniting in strength and solidarity against the violence perpetrated there and elsewhere. DzParis is always a good idea, dzremarks Audrey Hepburn, playing the title role in the delightful movie Sabrina. We agree—now, more than ever. What else is a good idea? Reading this issue of Wedding Planner Magazine cover-to-cover. It is bursting at the seams with good ideas. You’ll find business-building tips for novices, information on building event timelines, how to handle guests with autism, top software and apps for efficiency, a clip-and-save chart of 2016 conferences (including the Association of Bridal Consultants Annual Conference in Dallas in November), tips for working with mothers-of-the-brides, and so much more!We hope you enjoy this issue, and we hope you enjoy a bit of change. This year marks our fifth year in publication, which means we will unveil a new look in our March/April issue. So, don’t let your subscription lapse! Keep reading, keep learning, and stay in touch!
